LALIZAS highly skilled technicians have all the knowledge required in order to efficiently inspect lifeboats, rescue boats and davits.

The Lifeboats, Rescue boats & Davits - on board inspection includes:

1. Functional test of lifeboat and davit. Inspection of all components of lifeboat, dismount of the braking gear/winch assembly, davit components, inspection of the engine, the hooks and the connections
2. Functional test of lifeboat and davit. Inspection of all components of lifeboat, dismount of the braking gear, inspection of the engine, the hooks and the connections. Load test with 110% load
3. Functional test of lifeboat and davit. Inspection of all components of lifeboat, dismount of the braking gear, inspection of the engine, the hooks and the connections. Load test with 110% load
4. Recharge of 45 Liter breathing air cylinder
5. Examination of satisfactory condition and operation of the Free fall lifeboat/davit/winch and its systems. Operational test of the release function
6. Complete examination of the condition and operation of the Free Fall lifeboat/davit/winch and its systems. Lifeboat On-load release test with 1.1 x SWL, winch Dynamic load test with 1.1 x SWL. Operational test of the release function
7. Check for condition and operation of limit switches, gear, brakes, wire ropes
8. Examination and  function testing of satisfactory hook operation per regulations
9. Lifeboat Air cylinder hydrotesting that includes dismounting, mounting, hydrotest, valve service
10. Lifeboat Air Cylinder Inspection
11. Third party inspection 
12. Contracted third party to carry out NDT testing 
13. Engineering department fee
14. Brake pads replaced when worn past OEM recommendations or damaged linings
15. Third party charges for repairs to manifold
16. Lifeboat five year inspection and load test
17. Lifeboat 5 yearly on load Hook Testing
